What is nettle?

Urtica dioica, more commonly known as nettle, nettle or nettle leaf. Nettle is a perennial growing up to 60-120 cm in height, with heart-shaped leaves and yellow or pink flowers. It grows wild in colder and temperate climates, including Europe and North America. The plant owes its name to the burning roast it feels when someone rubs against it. Its scientific name, Urtica dioica, comes from the Latin word “uro”, which means “smoke”, because its leaves can cause temporary burning in contact with fresh leaves. The leaves and stems are covered with fine, needle-shaped hairs, called trichomes, that release chemicals like acetylcholine and histamine when someone rubs against a plant, which can irritate the skin. It is worth noting that the traditional use of this plant involves deliberately exposing the skin to this burning, as in the case of using bee stings in “apitherapy”.

Why does the dropper only fill halfway?

The dropper in our herbal extracts bottles is specially calibrated to hold exactly 1 ml of liquid. The dropper will fill halfway, not full, which is up to 1 ml.

Why does this extract look different than the one I bought earlier?

Often, the batches of a given herb differ slightly in appearance and uniformity of color due to its nature, because herbs are whole plants / parts of plants. Depending on the geographical region and the time of year in which the herb is harvested, it is not unusual for different batches of the same herb to differ slightly in physical appearance and characteristics such as color, aroma, texture, etc. Herbs are natural. Are non-alcoholic extracts less effective than alcohol extracts?

In the case of Nature’s Answer formulas, the potency of the herb in a non-alcoholic extract is not limited. Nature’s Answer non-alcoholic liquid extracts are produced in the same way as our low-alcohol extracts, using the optimal alcohol ratio for each plant to maximize their potency and customer value. After this initial evaluation, we use our cold biochelation process to completely eliminate alcohol from the finished product, resulting in an equally potent non-alcoholic extract.

What are the differences between Nature’s Answer non-alcoholic herbal extracts and low-alcohol herbal extracts?

Some companies offer non-alcoholic extracts, which are glycerin, which means that glycerin is used as an extraction agent. By comparison, Nature’s Answer non-alcoholic liquid extracts are produced in the same way as our low-alcohol extracts, providing the optimal alcohol ratio for each plant to maximize their potency and therapeutic value. Then we use our patented cold biochelation process, which completely eliminates alcohol from the finished product. At the end of the process, we add glycerin from the palm to ensure optimal stability and shelf life. In the case of extracts with a low alcohol content, we are able to effectively reduce the level of alcohol in the finished product to only 12 to 15% of organic alcohol.
