Citizen BY1030-09A is a men's elegant watch from the Radio Controlled collection, automatically tuning the time with radio waves based on DCF signals received from the atomic reference clock, thanks to which it shows the correctly corrected time and date, based on received and processed data. Whether in Europe, North America and Japan, or even China – when you set the local time, the watch receives the right signal and shows the correct time wherever you are.

Equipped with a modern solar mechanism Eco-Drive H874 , whose capacitor is charged with light, does not need periodic battery replacement. By powering the cells on the dial, it accumulates energy that drives the watch. It is characterized by a power reserve of up to 180 days + 2 years of power reserve in the dark and an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month.

Case is made of stainless steel ensuring high quality and durability, resistance to corrosion and weathering. . The exquisitely crafted dial is covered with a sapphire glass, which provides optical clarity (the best among the glasses used in watches), is very difficult to scratch and resistant to temperature differences and solvents. The whole is closed by a leather strap in blue color. The advantage is the butterfly clasp, which is much more convenient than the traditional one, allows for its longer life and also prevents spontaneous slipping off the wrist.

It is worth noting that BY1030-09A is a radio controlled model with moon phases. The watch is based on a unique mathematical formula developed by the CITIZEN called the Luna Program, calculating the phase of the moon each day based on signals received from multi-band radio transmitters. The moon phase at six o’clock is then automatically adjusted and displayed.

The watch is additionally equipped with a date stamp indicating the current day of the month and week and a power reserve indicator. The circadian time window will allow you to distinguish between the hours before and in the afternoon. Usability undoubtedly increases world time - local for 24 cities in the world. Additional advantages are tips covered with a phosphorescent layer, which after exposure is visible after dark, as well as water resistance at 10 atm, which will allow you to swim freely.
