The GA-V01A-8AER in metallic silver is a new interpretation of the classic, in which advanced design goes hand in hand with expressive design. The use of a metallic dial with openwork accents, an innovative Shock Release Hand and innovative design solutions makes the GA-V01 a new standard in terms of durability and modern design. In addition, the watch is characterized by a dynamic appearance and typical G-SHOCK shock resistance.
Shield and glass
The model is distinguished by a combination of organic shapes, sharp details and a wide LCD display. The digital-to-analog display in tech-style allows quick access to key information such as world time, alarms or stopwatch and timer functions. For better readability in the dark, the watch is equipped with Super Illuminator, which is a powerful LED backlight. The shield is protected by mineral glass.
Mechanism
The GA-V01A-8AER operates on a precise quartz movement, powered by a powerful battery with a lifespan of up to 10 years. Thanks to the automatic calendar function, the watch always indicates the correct date, without having to manually set it. In addition, we will find the innovative Shock Release Hand function – a newly developed minute hand that improves shock resistance. The GA-V01 runs for up to 10 years on a single battery – thanks to its energy-efficient design and efficient power supply.
Waterproof
The watch offers a water resistance class of 20 bar (200 meters), which means that you can use it without any worries during swimming, snorkeling or water sports. It is also suitable for diving to small depths, however, it is not designed for deep-sea scuba diving.
Case and Strap
The durable case plastic is designed to protect the inside of the watch from shocks and bumps. The integrated plastic strap, fastened with a classic buckle (buckle), ensures a secure fit on the wrist and comfort throughout the day.
