It is important to maintain a balance between these two processes, while with age the process of bone tissue decomposition intensifies. Ensuring the balance of bone metabolism is possible by supplementing with the diet with appropriate ingredients.

Vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones because it participates in the process of incorporation of calcium into bone tissue. K2-Vitum forte 200 μg contains vitamin K2 – menaquinone-7 (MK-7). This is important because it is this chemical form of vitamin K that is involved in bone metabolism. The human body is not able to synthesize vitamin K2 on its own, therefore the demand for this vitamin is covered mainly with diet and to a lesser extent thanks to the synthesis carried out by intestinal bacteria.

The product contains flaxseed oil with a high content of fatty acids omega-3, which includes alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 2 g of ALA per day.
