The Bridgestone Turanza T005 is a premium summer tyre designed for passenger cars. It is designed for drivers who want a reliable ride on both wet and dry asphalt. The model places particular emphasis on effective braking and stability in the rain. In many sizes, the tyre achieves the highest class A wet grip according to the EU label. Selected sizes are also available in the run-flat version of DriveGuard, which allows you to continue driving after pressure loss.

The tyre uses a rubber compound with NanoPro-Tech technology, which improves grip on wet surfaces and helps the tyre to better stay on the road when driving in the rain. The tread pattern is designed to effectively drain water from the contact zone. High blocks in the shoulder zone and wide channels in the central part of the tread accelerate water drainage, which helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning. The construction of the tyre uses a rigid polyester fiber carcass and steel banding, which supports driving stability and can contribute to lower rolling resistance.

The Turanza T005 has received numerous confirmations of its performance in independent tyre tests. In the ADAC 2019 test (185/65 R15) it took 1. A place with a good rating, in Auto Zeitung 2022 (215/55 R17) was the test winner, and in Auto Bild 2022 (215/55 R17) again took 1. place. The model also achieved high positions in subsequent years, including 2. place in ADAC 2020 (235/55 R17) and 3. space in Auto Bild 2021 (215/60 R17). The manufacturer also gives a longer mileage compared to the previous model, which supports the cost of a kilometer in everyday driving.
