The filter pressure reducer protects drinking water installations from excessive pressure (reduces the input pressure to the working level). The outlet pressure is adjustable and does not change with changes in the input pressure. Adjustment is done by turning the green knob. Rotating the knob in a clockwise direction increases the outlet pressure. Rotating above the given values on the pressure reducer scale can damage the reducer. We recommend a maximum outlet pressure of 4 bar for home installations. After each new outlet pressure setting, the adjustable installation must be opened and closed. The filter prevents contaminants such as rust particles, sand grains, and more from entering. The filter should be rinsed every 6 months or as needed. To rinse the filter, open and close the brass drain valve 2-3 times.

• Reducer operation during flow

If the draw point in the installation is opened, the spring pressure force prevails over the opposing force of the membrane, the valve mushroom moves downwards, allowing water to flow. The higher the water demand, the lower the pressure acting on the membrane, which allows for greater water flow through the device.

• Reducer operation without flow

If the draw points are closed in the installation, the output pressure increases and pushes the membrane upwards. The valve mushroom is closed preventing flow through the device while maintaining pressure at a level consistent with the setting. The difference in the force produced by the membrane with respect to the force produced by the spring causes the valve to close.

• Filtering (water purification)

Water entering the filter enters the filter chamber, from the outside it flows through the filter sieve, on the surface of which impurities stop. Stainless mesh filter cartridge with a capacity of 90 μm / 125 μm. The filter housing is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, filter shade made of high quality transparent plastic. Internal parts made of mechanically resistant thermoplastic. Seals made of age-resistant elastomer.
