UP FLOW regeneration technology and DFLR flow distribution system (Deflector)

As the only company on Allegro, we offer softeners equipped with the DFLR (Deflector) system – a solution used primarily in professional premium devices. This technology ensures even distribution of water flow during regeneration, increasing the efficiency of the entire process, improving the stability of the device and extending the life of the ion exchange bed.

HYDRO PREMIUM series softeners use a modern countercurrent regeneration system UP FLOW, in which the brine solution flows from the bottom of the bed upwards. This solution allows for more efficient use of the working surface of the ion exchange resin, ensures more accurate regeneration of the entire deposit and reduces salt and water consumption.

During the regeneration process, the DFLR (Deflector) system is responsible for optimal and even distribution of flow inside the column. Reduces the risk of flow channels (so-called. channeling), thanks to which the entire volume of resin is involved in regeneration. The result is more effective renewal of the deposit, more stable operation of the device and maintaining high efficiency throughout its service life.

1. EFFICIENT AND ECONOMICAL, LOWER EMISSIONS AND LOWER CONSUMPTION OF REGENERANT: The HYDRO TECHNIC IQ40 series systems were manufactured by Polish manufacturer. The device uses a modern HYDRO PREMIUM control head, operating in a cost-effective UP-FLOW regeneration mode. The control head is made of stainless steel elements, it is resistant to UV radiation. The valve body is made of resistant polymer. The head is easy to program and end-user friendly, contains the in Polish.

2. SUPER HYGIENIC FUNCTION, DRY TANK OPERATION: HYDRO TECHNIC IQ40 series systems, operate in mode i.e. “dry tank.” This mode of operation means that the salt solution is prepared by the device in advance (before the regeneration of the deposit itself - a time of about 120 minutes). This solution aims to eliminate the phenomenon of “salt clumping”, and also protects the system against the multiplication of possible bacteria.

3. IQ-SOFT FUNCTION: The HYDRO TECHNIC IQ series systems are equipped with a special valve with which raw water can be mixed with soft water to achieve residual hardness at the exit of the device.

4. FILTER BRINE AND BRASS BRINE CONNECTION PORT: The water softeners of the HYDRO TECHNIC IQ series are equipped with a special brine filter, which provides additional protection of the head against possible salt clumps drawn directly from the brine tank.

5. TIME CONTROL FUNCTION: PERIODIC RINSING OF THE BED IN CASE OF NOT USING THE SYSTEM: HYDRO TECHNIC IQ series systems equipped with the “HYDRO PREMIUM” head have the ability to work in temporary regeneration mode. The ion exchange resin must be cyclically rinsed through the brine solution. So that there is no damage to the resin, in the event that the device will be little used and there will be no cyclic regeneration resulting from the volume, the control valve will perform a regeneration cycle in time mode to protect the bed from damage.

6. BY-PASS AND DOUBLE FLOOD PROTECTION SYSTEM: Systems as standard are offered with the BY-PASS valve, which can be used to carry out maintenance work without blocking the supply of raw water to the installation. The valve is available in a set with 1” GZ BSP angle connections. Angle connection greatly facilitates the connection of the system to the installation, while minimizing the need to modify the water system.

HYDRO TECHNIC IQ series water softeners, are available for sale with double anti-flood protection, consisting of a shut-off valve and an overflow knee installed in a compact housing.

7. ALT ALERT FUNCTION, SALT CONTROL IN THE BRINE TANK: The water softeners of the "HYDRO TECHNIC IQ" series are equipped with a salt alarm. The intelligent controller counts down the salt loss after each regeneration. At the right time, the device displays an appropriate message informing the end user about the need to replenish the salt in the tank.

8. SIMPLY START FUNCTION and AUX FUNCTION: Using the AUX function, it is possible to connect external devices to HYDRO TECHNIC IQ softeners, e.g. metering pumps.
