Cartridges made of high quality polypropylene nonwoven fabric are designed for filtration of solid mechanical impurities occurring in the installation, such as:

• sand,
• mule,
• rust,
• coal dust.

The cartridge is recommended as a preliminary stage of filtration of cold drinking and usable water.

Cartridges provide filtration with an accuracy of 10 micron - this is one of the most accurate polypropylene cartridges, effectively capturing sedimentary microparticles present in water.

Polypropylene nonwoven fabric (polypropylene foam) retains impurities both on the surface of the cartridge and throughout the structure.

The 10" cartridge fits most kitchen filters, regardless of manufacturer. Klarwod products are a high standard and typical dimensions.

Contaminated water flows through the cartridge towards its core. Sediments contained in it are retained by micropores, the diameter of which decreases towards the interior. Large particles are captured at the surface, while small ones are captured in deeper layers. This increases the effective surface area, filtration efficiency and life of the cartridge.
