Dafi Start – a good pitcher to start with

The total capacity of the offered jug Dafi Start is 3,3 liters. It is a perfect size for everyday use, which will work for both a family of several people. The lid design allows you to fill the jug without lifting it. In addition, the jug uses a manual date stamp, on which you will mark the date of installation of the cartridge. Thanks to this, you will never forget to replace it on time. That's a max of 30 days.

All the time clean water with Dafi

This Dafi Start jug is compatible with Dafi Unimax filters. The filter should be replaced after a month or after filtering 100-200 l of water – whichever comes first. It all depends on the quality of the water and the type of filters used.

For example, in my case. I look at the "stone" - because I have very "hard" water. And I look at the kettle for boiling water - when I see that the stone is starting to settle, that is, you have to think about replacing the filter - I still get 2 hard water filters for a month. Because that's the water I have.

And water bought in 5-liter bottles, or city water - this is the same thing, its "hardness" is not reduced.

How does the filter in the jug work?

The filter is mounted in a special funnel inside the jug. Water, flowing through it, is purified, and dangerous substances are retained in the cartridge. The basic filter mixture in Dafi Unimax consists mainly of ion exchange resin and activated carbon. The filter makes the water taste and smell better and is free of some heavy metals, chlorine and dirt from the water supply network.

Dafi offers various filter cartridges (standard, for hard water, enriching water with magnesium ions, changing the Ph of water) and the quality of filtered water depends on the filter used.

Note: the presented set does not include a filter – when purchasing a jug, you should additionally equip yourself with an appropriate cartridge.
