The 70mai 4K A810S video recorder uses a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 converter to record details that may prove crucial in a contentious situation. MaiColor Vivid+ Solution technology together with the ROI algorithm analyzes the image in real time, adjusting the white balance and exposure to changing road conditions. License plates, markings and obstacles remain legible both in intense sunlight and when driving through darkened tunnels or in bad weather.

Recording after dark

The Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 works with the 70mai Night Owl Vision system, which reduces digital noise levels and corrects flashes in night records. Automatic exposure balancing gives useful video footage even after dusk. Lumi Vision’s 70mai mode extends exposure time and raises the ISO value in the dark, allowing you to recognize events in the parking lot at night. You get a full picture of the situation regardless of the time of day and the level of ambient lighting.

Dual video recording

The device is included with the RC24 rear-view internal camera installed without interfering with the body. The image is captured from both cameras simultaneously. Recordings are made with a fluidity of 30 frames per second. Picture-in-Picture displays both channels simultaneously, allowing you to observe the situation before and after the vehicle within a single screen. The function is useful when reversing, changing lanes and parking.

Automatic recording of events

The cached recording system records video for 3 minutes before the acceleration sensor detects the collision. You maintain a broad context of the event, which can be decisive in insurance or court proceedings. The five-stage G-sensor sensitivity adjustment allows you to precisely adjust the response of the device to the characteristics of the route and driving style, reducing unnecessary records when driving through bumps or braking in traffic jams.

Activity detection

Artificial intelligence algorithms analyze motion within range of lenses and automatically trigger 30-second writes on both channels when suspicious behavior is detected. The function requires the use of the 70mai Hardwire Kit or 4G Hardwire Kit to power from the vehicle's electrical system. Monitoring also works during the driver’s absence, documenting attempts to break in, paint damage or other incidents in the parking lot. You receive a notification and video material ready for use in legal procedures.

Remote control

The optional 4G Hardwire Kit allows you to access the camera from any location via the mobile app. Features include live image preview, viewing archived recordings, vehicle location on a map with pedestrian navigation, real-time route tracking, and battery voltage control with low-energy alert. The solution is useful in situations where you need to verify the condition of the vehicle without physical presence at it.

Voice management

Voice commands in English allow you to take photos, start recording and turn off the microphone without taking your hands off the steering wheel. The Wi-Fi 6 module operating in the 2,4 GHz band allows you to transfer a 200 MB file to your smartphone in a matter of seconds. Quick access to video material increases the efficiency of operation in a situation requiring recording.

Safety Assistant

The built-in GPS receiver records the geographical coordinates, speed and time of each part of the route, which is an additional confirmation of the circumstances of the event. The ADAS system emits voice alerts regarding deviation from the lane, too short distance from the vehicle in front and the presence of pedestrians in the danger area. The function supports active driving, reducing the risk of collision by constant observation of the environment and response to hazards.

Extended memory capacity

The device uses a supercapacitor along with a button battery instead of a traditional lithium-ion battery, offering stable operation in the temperature range from -10°C to 60°C and a long service life of electronic components. Compatible with microSD cards up to 512 GB, it allows you to store records from 12 days of regular driving with 2 hours a day. The system automatically overwrites the oldest files when the card is full, giving continuous writing without user intervention.
