A new generation formulation that provides plants with short- and long-term nutrient availability. It is a unique mixture of coated slow-release granules and uncoated fast-acting granules.
All flowers and plants of balcony, garden, roses, rhododendrons, lawns, thuje, conifers and others show a high demand for nutrients and water. In order for them to bloom and grow beautifully and lushly, they need to be regularly fertilized (which often requires monthly work) or the easiest way is to use Osmocote long-acting fertilizer.

Osmocote fertilizer is a nutrient (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, microelements) tailored to the requirements of a given plant, enclosed in a polymer shell – the whole is in the form of a fine granule. The unique formula of this polymer coating makes Osmocote fertilizer gradually released into the soil under the influence of moisture and substrate temperature. In practice, after applying the fertilizer through the coating, water is absorbed inside the granule, which dissolves the nutrients contained in it. The rate of release of nutrients depends on the temperature and humidity of the substrate: the warmer and wetter the soil - the more nutrients are released. This is suitable for the growth rate of plants - the warmer, the faster they grow, and therefore require more food. Thanks to Osmocote, plants receive a small but tailored dose of nutrients every day.
Osmocote fertilizer works for a very long time, up to 6 months – so only one fertilization per season is enough to meet the nutritional needs of a given plant and provide visible and lush effects for the whole year. Osmocote is very efficient, plants can use up to 85% of nutrients compared to ordinary granules, where it reaches only 25% (this simply means that in the case of ordinary granules, up to 75% of nutrients penetrate the soil and are wasted).
It is best to use Osmocote at the beginning, from March to May, although there are no contraindications to use it later. Importantly, the gradual release of fertilizer in small, daily doses means that there is no risk of overfertilization. Depending on the type of plants or flowers, formulations have also been adapted, e.g. for balcony flowers it contains an increased amount of phosphorus and potassium.
