Method of installation

When installing the device, please remove the device fuse from the fuse base. The kun deterrent should be installed in a dry place of the vehicle where the temperature is not too high (please do not install it in the immediate vicinity of the exhaust manifold or other particularly hot places), and from which ultrasound will spread well throughout the engine compartment.

Connect the positive cable with the integrated fuse housing to the “+ 12 V” power supply. Connect the mass cable to the vehicle mass terminal “- 12 V”. The cable to the “clamp 15” shall be connected to the “contact 15” of the vehicle’s on-board electrical network. This contact is most often located at the ignition switch, or at the Euro plug of the car radio.

When properly connecting the cable to the "clip 15", the deterrent will turn on automatically when the engine is turned off (when parking the car). If you do not find a “contact (clamp) 15”, please look for another contact at the ignition switch, which is disconnected during the car stop, and during engine operation combined with a “plus”. In some vehicles, this is a cigarette lighter socket. Connecting the cable to the "clip 15" ensures that you deter the marten will only be turned on when the car is stationary (there is no risk of marten appearing while driving).
