In 2001 Corinne Cachen created the first Montblanc perfume – Présence.

The freshness of bergamot combined with the sweetness of spices – this is how the composition of Présence opens mysteriously and invitingly.
In the heart note, the oriental slightly spicy sweetness is contrasted with refreshing green accords of sage, heliotrope and apple.
The notes of depth develop a sense-inflaming warmth again with aromatic sandalwood, vibrating amber, musk and exotic tonka seeds.
The simple, almost ascetic shapes of the Présence bottle give the impression of being very masculine at the same time.
However, the whole does not argue at all, it corresponds to the perfumes contained inside, harmoniously combining male strength and gentleness.
