The tripod is equipped with a feed locking mechanism that allows you to immobilize the guide in a specific position. Thanks to this, the user can accurately position the grinder over the material before cutting, which increases precision and eliminates the risk of accidental movement of the tool. This lock is particularly useful for serial cuts, where repeatability of setting is important.

Another important element is the cutting depth limiter. It allows you to set the maximum immersion of the disc in the material, which protects against too deep cutting of the working element. The grinder guide moves along two rods using plain bearings. This solution ensures smooth, linear movement without jams and slacks.

The integrated spring mounted in the guide mechanism is responsible for the automatic return of the grinder to the starting position after cutting. When the user completes the work and releases the pressure, the spring lifts the guide upwards, which eliminates the need to manually retract the tool.
