Thermos Mountain - lightweight thermos for extreme conditions

Thermos Mountain FFX is a global leader in outdoor thermoses. Currently, you will not find a thermos with better parameters. The thermos is designed to meet all requirements for mountain conditions: simple opening and closing, resistance to damage, high insulation properties, low weight and compactness (only 300 x 80 mm! ).

Weight of thermos

Thermos is very light. Thanks to its weight, it is comparable to titanium thermoses, which, however, are much more expensive. Without a non-slip disc and bottom protection, it weighs only 360g.

High insulation properties

Thermos keeps drinks warm for a very long time - after 6 hours the temperature of the drink is still over 80°C (measurement conditions: initial temperature of the drink 95°C, ambient temperature 20°C). A characteristic feature is a narrow outlet with a diameter of 36 mm with a special double nut.

Anti-slip thermos cup

The non-slip thermos cup is made of two materials of different hardness, so that it does not slip when opening the thermos. The wide bottom ensures high stability of the cup and at the same time guarantees an easy grip when removing the thermos from the backpack. The volume of the cup was increased compared to the previous version of Thermos Mountain.

Non-slip disc

Opening the thermos is simple even with thick gloves. In the event of dropping the thermos, it also serves as protection.

Double thermos nut

The double nut is designed to make it easy to open and close the thermos. The inner part of the nut is provided with a double thread with a longer length. Thanks to this solution, it is enough to twist the inner part of the nut only half a turn and you can pour (standard nuts need to be completely twisted).

The nut also ensures a smooth flow of the drink and is easy to maintain.

Protection of the bottom of the thermos

The thermos is made of stainless steel. This type of thermos is often called “non-breakable” thermoses. However, it is obvious that falling on the rock does not work well even on “non-breakable” thermoses Silicone bottom protection absorbs impacts when dropping the thermos and protects the bottom from scratching.
