Thermos for food Esbit Food Jug 750ml black I

The Esbit Food Jug dinner thermos is made of the highest quality stainless steel. To protect against accidental dropping of the thermos, which could happen when we hold it in a frozen hand or glove, it was covered from the outside with a special black, matte anti-slip coating.

Also, the dimensions of the thermos have been selected so that it is easy to use.

A big advantage of the Food Jug thermos is the safety valve placed on the cap. After pressing it (before opening the thermos! ) we can remove the excess pressure accumulated inside (which often happens after placing a hot dish inside). This makes it easier to open the thermos and eliminates the risk of burning with hot steam or accidentally “exploding” the nut during transport. The cap itself can be used as a bowl.

In order to make the most of the properties offered by your food thermos, Esbit proposes to “format” the thermos before use. If you plan to transport hot things – before placing them in a thermos, fill it with hot water for about 4 minutes, then pour out the water and place the food. The same should be done for cool things (fill the thermos with very cold water).
