The THERMAS case cannot be stored in vacuum packaging or waterproof bags that prevent air from entering when it is in an active state.

What temperature do THERMAS thermal cases maintain?

Insulin begins the process of decomposition at 30 degrees Celsius. Thermal Cases THERMAS keep insulin in a safe temperature range of 18 – 26 ° C depending on the ambient temperature in which the Cases THERMAS are stored. For example, when the air temperature remains at 38,8°C, THERMAS will keep the insulin at 26°C for a minimum of 45 hours.

Instructions - How to use the insulin cooling cover Thermas:

1. The inner liner containing crystals is immersed in cold water for 8-12 minutes
2. gently distribute crystals along visible stitches
3. After a moment of soaking, the crystals will take the form of a gel perceptible with fingers
4. when the gel fills the chambers of the insert, pull the case out of the water
5. dry with a paper towel and place in a decorative outer bag
6. ready to use

Note: the given time is estimated - we suggest removing the case from the water when the crystals turn into a gel filling in 3/4 of the inner liner and leaving it until the dripping water is absorbed

Note: any cold water (from tap, river, mineral) can be used to activate the case, do not pour boiling water and immerse in salt sea water
