HOT START AND OTHER FUNCTIONS
HOT START – “hot start” – consists in temporarily increasing the welding current above the set value at the moment of arcing. This prevents the phenomenon of “sticking the electrode” in the initial phase of welding, making it easier to start the whole process.
Arc-Force function – it is used to improve the stability of combustion in the short arc and prevent the electrode from “sticking”. When a drop of metal separates from the electrode, the current is automatically raised to a given level - if there is a suitable switch (as in the "Professional" series). By lowering the “Electric arc force” to reduce power consumption from a weak grid or increasing it in a strong grid, the stability of arc combustion is even much better improved.
Anti-Stick function – allows the welder to easily subtract the electrode from the product, without the risk of visual paralysis. During a short circuit after a short break, the welding current is automatically reduced. After separating the electrode from the element, the source automatically restores its operation.
FAN STOP - an adaptive fan, a solution that increases the life of the fan itself and additionally reduces the amount of dust in the device itself. The fan speed increases at the beginning of operation and when it is heated and decreases when the welding machine is cooled
