The THF238 PRO-X AC/DC from MAGNUM is a professional, lightweight inverter welding machine designed for welding using the following methods:
➡ TIG AC/DC
Welding with a non-melting electrode in an inert gas shield with the possibility of advanced DC (DC) and alternating current (AC) welding.
⚡ TIG HF - method of non-contact high frequency arc ignition using an ionizer. The glow occurs by approaching the electrode to the welded material and pressing the button on the handle.
⚡ TIG Lift - touch method by touching the electrode of the welded material, and then lifting it to a height of several millimeters, which initiates the welding arc.
⚡ TIG PULS - pulsed welding

welding with direct current electrode (DC) and alternating electrode (AC). MMA welding can be done after buying an electrode holder, because it is not included in the offered set.

The THF 238 PRO welder is powered from a single-phase 230V network, has a high 60% duty cycle at 200 A, which allows it to be used in various industrial segments. The device has an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel that allows for quick and precise selection of individual welding parameters.
The control panel is equipped with a multifunctional display illustrating the values of individual parameters, the adjustment of which is carried out with a single knob.
The welding machine is characterized by a wide range of applications, it is dedicated to all kinds of welding work in factories, industrial plants, locksmith workshops, repair workshops, etc.
Thanks to the regulation of pulse welding parameters TIG PULS we have an impact on the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.
Arching occurs in non-contact (HF) or touch mode (LIFT). The LIFT function is used during welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the environment.
Both with the MIG/MAG method and TIG HF non-contact and TIG LIFT touch ignition, we have the option of selecting the button function in the handle between operation in 2-bar or 4-bar mode (button lock for long welds).
➡ TIG DC and TIG DC PULS
is used for welding: steel stainless steel, carbon and low alloy steels, copper and titanium.
➡ TIG AC and TIG AC PULS
enables welding of aluminium and its alloys and brass.
By adjusting TIG PULS pulsed welding parameters, we have an impact on the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding very thin components.

THE WELDING MACHINE ALSO HAS A NUMBER OF FUNCTIONS FACILITATING MMA WELDING SUCH AS:

✅ ARC FORCE: facilitates the transfer of a drop of molten electrode to the welded material, preventing the arc from extinguishing when the drop of electrode contacts the welding lake.
The power source was built on the basis of IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) transistors, which provide a minimum of electromagnetic interference, small power losses in basic systems, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source. Very high efficiency, which translates directly into lower energy consumption, and high switching frequency, ensure rapid adjustment of the current to changes in parameters during welding.
Original recommended TIG handle Magnum SR26V with button for initiating arc glow, fits most welding equipment available on the market.
The handle has an ergonomic shape so it fits perfectly in the hand. The control button is located in the central place of the handle.
The handle of the burner has specially rubber inserts, thanks to which the handle lies securely in the hand. The handle has a high-quality rubber cover, protecting the wires from abrasion.

When using an ordinary gas nozzle, the shielding gas is first reflected from the inner walls of the ceramic nozzle and then is unevenly distributed to the working area. Using the gas lens , the gas through a special mesh is distributed evenly along the tungsten electrode straight to the working area providing a much better shield of the weld.

In the MMA method, a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. An electric arc is produced between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arching is created by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material.
