⏩MAGNUM MIG 220 WELDING MACHINE IN IGBT

MAGNUM MIG-MMA 220W IGBT is a semi-automatic welding machine designed for manual, electric welding of low-carbon steel, low-alloy steel (MAG), alloy steel (MIG) and aluminum and its alloys. The device can also be welded using MMA method using hot melt coated electrodes.

The device is designed for all kinds of welding work in locksmith workshops, repair workshops, industrial and factories. The power source was built on IGBT transistors providing a minimum of electromagnetic interference, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source, lower energy consumption and rapid adjustment of the current to changes in parameters during welding.

⏩Professional 2R wire feeder

Stable feeding of welding wires of various types. Ability to work with longer MIG handles. Good welding parameters - better weld quality.

The device is equipped with a proven wire feeding mechanism that has been working in MIG/MAG devices for many years.

⏩ EUROCONNECTOR

The welder has a standard euroconnector that allows quick connection, disconnection or replacement of the MIG/MAG handle. The solution also facilitates servicing the cable and choosing the right handle for the job.

⏩ MOBILE WORKSTATION

Thanks to the screw-on cylinder platform, the device can create a complete, convenient MIG/MAG welding station in the gas shield. The welder and cylinder stay together, making it easy to organize your workflow and move the set quickly between stations.

Everything at hand – The welder, gas cylinder and wires form one orderly work set, ready to work without having to move the elements separately.

Convenience of manoeuvring – The compact design makes it easy to move the device in the workshop, garage or repair station, also where the working space is limited.

Stable cylinder position – Dedicated cylinder space helps keep it upright and increases work safety when using the kit.

⏩ Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the welding machine powered by 230 V? – Yes, MAGNUM MIG-MMA 220 W IGBT is powered from a single-phase 230 V network and requires 20 A protection.
  • What methods can be welded? – The device supports MIG/MAG, FLUX and MMA methods, i.e. welding with gas shielded wire, self-shielded wire and wrapped electrode.
  • Can weld without gas? – Yes, after a proper change of polarity, the welding machine allows you to work with FLUX self-shielding wire.
  • What is the maximum welding current? – The MIG/MAG current range is 30 to 200 A, while MMA is 30 to 180 A.
  • What wire diameters does the welding machine support? – The device is adapted to wire with a diameter of 0,6 / 0,8 / 1,0 mm and spools weighing up to 5 kg.
  • Does the welding machine have inductance adjustment? – Yes, inductance adjustment allows you to change the characteristics of the arc, limit chipping and adjust the weld to the work performed.
  • Can the MIG/MAG handle be easily replaced? – Yes, the 220 W model has a standard euroconnector for quick connection or replacement of the handle.
  • What does 60% cycle mean? – This means about 6 minutes of welding and 4 minutes of break in a 10-minute work cycle under specific measurement conditions.
  • MIG/MAG - welding with a hot melt electrode (in the form of wire wound on a spool) in a gas shield. It is a popular welding process that is characterized by high efficiency and good quality of the welded joint. Semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding is one of the most popular methods both in workshop conditions as well as in high-performance production. This method is also relatively easy to learn by novice users.
  • FCAW (FLUX) - a popular variant of the MAG method - semi-automatic welding with a hot melt electrode (welding wire on a spool). The main difference is that it is welded with a special self-shielding wire, which does not require the use of shielding gas. Simplifying, we can say that this method combines two processes: MAG welding and MMA electrode welding.
  • MMA - the oldest variety of arc welding - the so-called. welding with a wrapped electrode. This is probably the best known and widespread welding method. The type and diameter of the wrapped electrode is selected depending on the type of material being welded.
  • Inductance - optimizes arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded material. This function is useful when welding thin elements using the MIG/MAG method - it prevents them from burning out (the thinner the inductance element should be greater). Inductance affects the shape of the weld, its width, depth of melting and the number of splashes,
