It is a popular welding process that is characterized by high efficiency and good quality of the welded joint. Semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding is one of the most popular methods both in workshop conditions as well as in high-performance production. This method is also relatively easy to learn by novice users.
• FCAW (FLUX) - a popular variant of the MAG method - semi-automatic welding with a hot melt electrode (welding wire on a spool). The main difference is that it is welded with a special self-shielding wire, which does not require the use of shielding gas. Simplifying, we can say that this method combines two processes: MAG welding and MMA electrode welding.
