The welder can also be used for TIG welding using a special TIG torch with a valve (TIG LIFT method). The arc is then ignited by lightly rubbing the non-consumable electrode against the welded material.

Snake 320 IGBT devices are based on the latest, most advanced technology using IGBT transistors.

Thanks to their special design, bipolar power transistors with an insulated gate ( IGBT - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) are in many respects a more advantageous solution and in many applications they are a better solution than traditional MOSFET transistors. The IGBT transistor-based source offers a stronger , more concentrated and more stable arc while consuming less energy.

HOT START ( hot start) - a function that makes starting welding much easier. When the arc is ignited, the welding current is briefly increased. This leads to the heating of the material and the electrode at the contact point, as well as to the proper shaping of the penetration and the weld face (in the initial phase of the welding process).

ARC FORCE - a function that provides the best settings for a stable arc and low spatter. In other words, thanks to ARC FORCE, the electric arc necessary for welding glows uniformly, without short circuits that make it difficult or impossible to connect materials. Welding often produces large amounts of spatter, i.e. drops of molten metal, which must be removed. After turning on the ARC FORCE function, the amount of spatter is significantly reduced, which allows for more comfortable work .

VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) - it turns off the power within milliseconds after welding is completed and reduces the voltage on the coated electrode to a safe level. Another attempt to start welding starts the device and allows the electric arc to ignite. The VRD voltage reduction system provides additional safety for the welder, especially in environments where there is an increased likelihood of electric shock, such as hot and humid environment.

IGBT - the welder uses modern transistors, a solution that ensures minimum electromagnetic interference, low power losses in the basic systems, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source.
