How the drive for the sliding gate works:

1. Electric motor:

   The central component of the drive is the electric motor, which converts electricity into mechanical movement. The motor is designed to provide adequate power to move a gate of a certain weight and size.

2. Gearbox:

   The motor is connected to the gear transmission, which transmits movement to the gear located on the gate. The transmission reduces engine speed by increasing torque, allowing the gate to move smoothly and precisely.

3. Toothed strips:

   A gear bar is mounted on the bottom edge of the gate. When the drive motor rotates the gear, the gear bar moves along the track, opening or closing the gate. This mechanism allows linear movement of the gate along its sliding track.

4. Control system:

   The drive is equipped with a control unit that manages all the functions of the device. The control unit receives signals from the remote control or mobile application and starts the engine in the right direction (opening or closing).

5. Safety features:

   Various safety features are installed in the drive, such as an obstacle detection system. The drive monitors the force that the gate encounters during movement, and if an obstacle is detected, it stops and retracts to avoid damage or injury to people in the gateway.

   Photocells are another safety feature. Mounted on both sides of the gate, they form an invisible barrier. If something breaks this barrier when closing, the drive stops the gate and opens it back.

6. Automatic closing:

   The above drive is equipped with an automatic closing function that closes the gate after a specified period of time after opening or after detecting that the vehicle has left the property.
