The medical device Pempa T80 with magnifying glass is used to measure body temperature. The mercury-free metal alloy allows for accurate and safe temperature measurement. The magnifying glass case makes it easy to read the measurement.

Properties:

The PEMPA mercury-free glass thermometer consists of a measuring liquid, a glass tube (called a capillary), a printed scale card and a glass housing. The measuring liquid is an alloy of metals: gallium, indium and tin (galinstan) enclosed in a metal tube, which is located inside the glass housing. The card with the printed scale is attached to the inner wall of the housing. The thermometer works on the principle of thermal expansion of the substance.

The temperature range is 35°C-42°C. Accuracy: +0.1°C/-0.15°C

How to use:

Before starting the measurement, make sure that the pole of the metallic liquid is below 36°C.

Use 75% alcohol to wipe the thermometer before use.

According to the measurement method, the thermometer should be placed in the appropriate part of the body.

In the case of measurement in the mouth, place the tip of the thermometer under the tongue and then close the mouth tightly. In the case of measurement under the armpit, care should be taken that the arm presses the thermometer against the body. In the case of rectal measurement, care should be taken to ensure that the thermometer is disinfected. Vaseline or lubricant can be used before measuring. Remember! The result will vary depending on the measurement location.

The result of the measured temperature should be read after 6 minutes of measurement.

After the measurement is completed, it is recommended to disinfect the thermometer and put it in a case with a squeegee, making sure that it has been properly inserted and closed.

Then, grab the grip of the shooter and by vigorously moving the wrist shake the temperature. About 5-10 wrist movements are recommended.
