Indications

Geratherm Classic glass thermometer designed to measure body temperature in the mouth, under the armpit or in the anus.

Contraindications

Warnings

Use it according to the instructions for use or label.

• When measuring temperature, do not bite the thermometer, speak, eat, play, run until the thermometer is removed from your mouth.
• The thermometer must not be submerged or washed in water at temperatures exceeding its maximum measuring range.
• The thermometer is not a toy.
• Do not use petroleum jelly to facilitate the rectal application of the thermometer.
• During the measurement by the rectal method, it is necessary to control that the thermometer does not slide out or slide too deep. Special care is advised to ensure that the thermometer does not break during measurement.
• Do not expose the thermometer to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
• The temperature of the cleaning and disinfection solution must not exceed 42 °C.
• When measuring temperature in children should be present all the time adult.
• Glass thermometer, you should always handle with extreme caution. Protect the thermometer from impact or dropping.
• The measuring liquid must not come into contact with precious or light metals, as it may react with them.

Use

The thermometer can be used to measure the temperature under the armpit, in the mouth, or in the anus. Depending on the place of measurement, the waiting time for the result and the temperature range considered correct vary. Detailed information can be found in the table in the instructions for use.

Persistent fever, especially in children, must be consulted with a doctor.

Before each measurement, the liquid column should always be below 36 °C

Always disinfect the thermometer before and after use.

Storage

Store at -15°C to +42°C. Avoid exposure to heat and moisture sources.
