Indications:

For puncturing the skin to collect a capillary blood sample, for self-determination of blood glucose levels.

How to use:

• Wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap, then dry them thoroughly with a clean towel.
• Select the puncture site. Most often, the lateral part of the fingertip is punctured.
• Remove the safety cap from the lancet.
• Enter the lancet into the Optilets lancet and make a puncture.
• Measure the glucose concentration according to the instructions, then clean the puncture site.
• Put the safety cap back on the lancet blade and discard the lancet in the appropriate container.

Contraindications and precautions

• Do not reuse the lancet.
• Do not lend a lancet or lancet to others. This creates a risk of transmission of infection.
