Shimano Sustain Spinning 2.03m 5-21g 1+1

Shimano Sustain is a series of versatile, professional spinning and baitcasting rods, using technologically advanced Spiral X blank, based on the patented carbon braid design.

• When creating rods from the Sustain series, we wanted to build a strong, resistant to high overload blank, while maintaining its light weight. To achieve this, we used Spiral X carbon braid technology, based on the spirally arranged Infinity Tape carbon tape, covering the inner and outer walls of the rod blank. Such a rigid carbon tape makes the blank can withstand greater deflection unscathed, and at the same time is characterized by a much faster extinguishing, and thus, greater accuracy of casting. The top part of the rod has been further strengthened to cope with large overloads. In a word, such a blank has gained the characteristics of a professional rod for technical varieties of predator fishing.

• The stiffness of the blank offered in the Sustain rod has also been used by us in the context of increased sensitivity. Thanks to the use of appropriate components, the rods in this series are really "electric", allowing you to experience each bite in a much better way than most rods offered on the market. Merit lies on the side of the ultra-light, rigid reel seat / multiplier, made of carbon Ci4+. It allows you to better balance the rod and transmits bites to the angler's hand in a much better way. Combined with the lightweight Fuji SS K Alconite grommets, this allows you to bring out the best in the blank.

• Sustain rods are offered in two variants – Moderate Fast (spinning) and X-Fast (spinning and baitcasting). Depending on the selected option, we have a universal rod with a deeper deflection or a fast rod for technical fishing. We offer anglers many models with different casting weights, both in spinning and baitcasting versions. In the first one, we will find sticks dedicated to light fishing for perch and zander from boats (stronger twitching, precipitation), further slightly longer versions for pike fishing, ending with versions of 2,69m, 2,74m and 2,99m, dedicated to each variety of river spinning, even in the heaviest version (version up to 84g). Baitcasting versions are 2 models with universal length (1,90m and 2,08m) and casting weight, recommended especially for zander fishing in precipitation (version 7-28gg) and pike (24-84g). All rods from the Sustain series present a classic design, offering a full or split handle finished with the highest quality cork and EVA foam.
