PENN Regiment III Solid Carbon rods are unique rods with blanks made entirely of carbon fiber in special Spiral Armor technology. This 100% robust carbon fiber construction is virtually indestructible, yet extremely slim and sensitive. It consists of several layers of 46T and 30T carbon with a full 24T carbon fiber core. Finished with salt water resistant stainless steel grommets and conical, ergonomic, easy-to-clean high-density EVA foam handles. These rods are truly unique and are great for fishing mixed species, and heavier versions are even able to stop huge blue sharks and halibuts!
