The MediTemp Sanity electronic thermometer is used to measure temperature for the whole family. It is a cheaper alternative to a touchless thermometer and more convenient, faster, and also safer for a glass thermometer. It can be used to measure the temperature orally, rectally and under the armpit. In the case of oral and rectal measurement, the approximate time is 40 seconds, and in the case of underarm measurement approx. 1 minute. The beep indicates the end of the measurement. The thermometer automatically saves the last result and has a battery replacement indicator on the display.

How to use the thermometer:

Press the on/off button to turn on the device. The thermometer should make a short beep and display the display test, which will take about 2 seconds. Then the last measured temperature will be displayed with the "M" sign in the right corner. The display will display an indication of 37,0°C. When the “Lo” and the flashing unit °C (°F) are displayed, the thermometer is ready to measure the temperature. However, if the ambient temperature is higher than 32,0°C, the room temperature will be displayed instead of Lo. To turn off the thermometer, press the on/off button (the thermometer turns off automatically after about 10 minutes of inactivity).

Precautions:

• The thermometer can only be used in the presence of an adult.
• Don’t walk, run or talk while measuring temperature.
• When the thermometer is not in use, store it in a protective case.
• Do not store the thermometer in a place where it may be exposed to direct sunlight, dust or moisture. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Avoid dropping the thermometer or subjecting it to severe shocks.
• Do not disassemble parts of the thermometer, except for battery replacement.
• The thermometer should be cleaned before and after each use with a soft cloth diluted with isopropyl alcohol or washed with cold soapy water.
• Do not immerse the thermometer in water or alcohol. Do not soak or sterilize the device in boiling water or in a gas or steam autoclave.
