Five-fold optical zoom

The WG-90 features an advanced lens with 5x optical zoom covering a range of 5 to 25 mm (equivalent to 28 to 140 mm for 35 mm format), making it perfect for both landscape photography and detail zooming. Intelligent Zoom technology allows you to extend magnification up to 36 times while maintaining high image quality. Additionally, the interval shooting feature allows you to capture long-term changes from a single, fixed perspective.

Clear LCD screen

Pentax WG-90 has a 2,7-inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 230 thousand. points, coated with AR (Anti-Reflection), reducing glare. Outdoor View Setting mode allows you to adjust the brightness of the display depending on the prevailing lighting, which increases the comfort of use both in full sun and in the dark.

A wide selection of modes

The camera offers 25 shooting modes, including Auto Picture, which automatically selects the best settings for a given scene, Landscape mode, which emphasizes the colors of nature, and Underwater Movie, which correct the white balance for realistic underwater shots.

Built-in macro lighting

Six LEDs placed around the lens ensure even illumination of objects up close. The ability to adjust the intensity of light on five levels allows for precise adjustment of lighting to the photographed object. Compared to the previous model, the brightness of the diodes has been almost doubled, which translates into even better results.

Creative modes

The WG-90 features six different image tone modes that allow you to customize the look of your photos to your preference. Among them are m.in. Cross Process, which imitates the effect of unusual evoking analogue films, Vibrant emphasizing intense colors and Slide Film, giving the photographs dynamic contrast.

Impressive macro photos

With 1 cm Macro mode, the camera allows you to shoot objects from just one centimeter away. Six LEDs help you get the best lighting conditions by eliminating shadows and highlighting details. Digital Microscope mode allows you to quickly switch to macro photos, offering a maximum magnification of 6,6x (at 2 MP resolution). The set also includes a macro stand, stabilizing the camera when shooting from a minimum distance.

Recording functions in HD

Pentax WG-90 offers recording in three modes: Full HD 1080p (30 fps. /s), High Speed Movie for slow motion shots and Underwater Movie, optimized for underwater filming. The Movie SR (Shake Reduction) feature reduces vibration for stable recordings. The ability to save individual frames from videos and edit clips on the camera increases its functionality. With an HDMI (Type D) connector, you can easily connect your camera to your TV and play back recorded footage on a larger screen.
