HUSQVARNA DESIGNER SAPPHIRE 85 is a modern sewing and embroidery machine. The automatic functions used in the machine will make you not want to stop sewing. Sapphire 85 has a built-in WiFi port and constant access to mySewnet™ tools from the touch screen.
Functions of mySewnet™
The machine has Wi-Fi access, which allows you to connect to mySewnet™ applications, easily update and wirelessly transfer projects. The mySewnet™ library is a permanent access to a full, ever-expanding library of stunning stitches and embroidery patterns.
The machine is controlled using the large touch screen, and for the most important functions, 9 practical buttons are placed on the front of the machine. Quick access we have to the functions: automatic up/down needle positioning, Start/Stop function, quick stop machine - Stop, Fix function, automatic thread cutting, back sewing, speed adjustment, automatic lifting and lowering of the foot.
JoyOS ADVISOR™ help at hand
JoyOS ADVISOR™ is an inexhaustible source of knowledge about sewing and about the HUSQVARNA DESIGNER machine itself. The tool gives you access to tutorials with practical tips, interesting sewing projects with step-by-step instructions and sewing and embroidery tips. Thanks to JoyOS ADVISOR™, we also have access to a manual that reveals to the user amazing machine functions, such as precise project positioning, etc. You will also find a Quick Start Guide, which will tell you how to set up a sewing or embroidery machine and how to start working with the machine. JoyOS ADVISOR™ also includes a guide to accessories, including accessories and optional accessories.
FIX function
A very practical tool that automatically ties the threads at the end of the stitch and drags them to the left side of the material, protecting the stitches from tearing.
Automatic needle threader
A practical tool that allows you to thread the needle in seconds, without the hassle of hitting the eye. We place the thread in special guides and thread it “catches” and drags it through the needle. The threader is particularly helpful when embroidering, when we need to change the thread frequently.
Ending/broken thread sensor
The machine has an innovative sensor that will let us know if the thread runs out. If the thread we sew breaks, the machine will automatically stop.
To reduce downtime to the maximum, the machine allows you to wind bobbins in two ways - traditional, when sewing or embroidering and through a strung needle.
Machine with programmed decorative stitches
The Husqvarna sewing machine has built-in 680 stitches up to 54 mm wide and 5 alphabets. Stitches can also be easily positioned - we have 29 needle positions at our disposal. Tapering function - that is, finishing stitches by narrowing them at an angle, makes it easier to combine stitches into shapes. We also have exclusive stitch techniques at our disposal, patented by HUSQVARNA® VIKING®, e.g. Sequin and Theme. The Stitch Balance function automatically sets the perfect transport balance when sewing forward and backward. Programmed stitches are in the memory of the machine organized in several categories, they are also printed on the inside of the opening lid. For hemming holes we have 15 styles of hemming at our disposal. If you need to stop embroidery or sewing, all settings and the current stitch position will be automatically saved.
DeLuxe™ stitch system
The deLuxe™ stitch system used in the machine allows you to achieve perfect stitches. The machine itself selects the appropriate thread tension – depending on the chosen sewing technique, thread and fabric. The result is perfect stitching – the same on the right and left sides of the material. The deLuxe™ stitch system facilitates e.g. sewing and embroidery with metallic threads.
Automatic home embroidery machine
The maximum embroidery area is up to 360 x 350 mm. On the Designer Sapphire 85 we can embroider at a speed of up to 1000 stitches per minute. Husqvarna allows you to quickly convert photos into embroidery and easily edit them directly on the screen. Programmed embroidery patterns can be precisely positioned on the tambourine and edited using the following functions: rotating, mirroring, scaling, resizing or sliding. The machine automatically cuts the jump stitches. Each embroidery pattern can be made in color or monochrome. We also have the ability to fast-track on tamborek.
Design Appliqué – application development
Machine for a special program that allows you to create applications directly on the machine screen, without additional software. We can choose from built-in shapes, such as heart, flower or letters, and finish our application with different types of stitches.

Sewing machine Husqvarna Designer Sapphire 85 has a large working area - 25 cm, illuminated with LEDs. You can easily keep your machine accessories in order with the functional drawer. On the housing of the machine there is a practical ruler with graduations in centimeters and inches. The machine also has a built-in USB port.
