Universal, soft reductions ensure a comfortable, individual fit inside the breast pump funnel. Made from a soft, flexible material, they provide a tight seal and fit to ensure maximum effectiveness for smaller nipples. Compatible with standard Ameda 25mm funnels.

Before each use

Wash your hands with soap and water.

Before and after each use of the insert

Unless otherwise recommended, the product should be prepared for use as follows:

1. Wash thoroughly in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow to dry. Parts can also be washed on the top shelf of a standard home dishwasher. Do not use solvents or abrasives. OR

2. Place the parts in boiling water for 10 minutes. Allow to dry on a clean surface.

Cleaning

After each use

Rinse with cool water or remove residue from milk. Then wash well in warm soapy water and rinse well. Allow to dry on a clean surface. Parts can also be washed on the top shelf of a standard home dishwasher. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

How to use the Ameda reducing insert

1. Choose the right size: choose the right reducing insert.

2. Align and insert: Align the bottom of the reducing insert with the funnel hole and gradually slide in until the outer edges touch the outer edges of the funnel for a good seal. If the insert is difficult to insert, gently fold it in half along the length and slide it completely into the collar.

3. Expand for a good fit: If there are any creases or wrinkles, extend the sides of the liner to make sure it fully contacts the collar tunnel.

Removing

When removing the insert, bend the edges inside and pull to the thicker part near the center.
