The very light indicator head can be significantly weighted with a sliding weight if necessary. The reliable clip securely holds the line or braid regardless of their diameter and weight on the indicator head. However, it provides a safe release of the indicator after impact. When released, the arm is gripped in the lower position, preventing it from hitting the kickstand or further involuntary waving of the arm.
