The Security Gateway module (SGM / SGW) is a factory protection found in FCA group cars that limits diagnostic queries for reading only, e.g. information about the controller, current parameters or fault codes.

⚙ Usage:

1. Connect the adapter: Locate the wiring harness leading to the SGW module and connect the SDA2 adapter to these wires.
2. Connect the diagnostic device: Connect the diagnostic device to the OBD2 socket.
3. Start diagnostics: Turn on the vehicle ignition and start the diagnostic device.
