ROYAL CANIN® Mother & Babycat was developed specifically for pregnant and lactating cats and kittens from 1 to 4 months of age.

Between 4 and 12 weeks, kittens go through a critical period in the process of developing the immune system. The immunity acquired with breast milk is slowly fading away, and the cat’s own immune system is not yet fully developed. ROYAL CANIN® Mother & Babycat contains a patented complex of interacting antioxidants, including vitamin E, which promotes the development of natural defense mechanisms of the kitten's body.

Kittens gradually losing the ability to digest lactose, enter the period of weaning and transition to solid food. That is why ROYAL CANIN® Mother & Babycat easily soaked croquettes for delicate mush make weaning easier.

Soft croquettes make it easier for kittens to chew on food, which promotes the transition to solid food. Specially developed recipe also covers all the nutritional needs of the cat in lactation.

Highly digestible proteins and the addition of prebiotics support the proper course of the digestive process. The addition of DHA fatty acids, belonging to the group of omega 3 acids, supports brain development in kittens.

Bearing in mind the nutritional preferences of cats, ROYAL CANIN® Mother & Babycat food is also available in the form of a delicate mousse. In the case of feeding wet and dry food, please refer to the dosage table to choose the right portion of individual foods.
