Alder chips:

Alder chips are good for smoking because they provide a mild but ripe taste that is ideal for smoking meat, especially game, red meat, but also fish and poultry. Alder is a wood that has a naturally delicate taste, after smoking it adds a distinct aroma to the meat. In addition, alder chips give the meat a brown-cherry color. These are the most versatile wood chips for smoking, versatile and giving great results.

Oriental smoking time from one 2L pack is 8 hours.

Inne pack sizes are available at other auctions, but even larger quantities are packed in smaller 2L foil bags for easier storage, dosing and protection against moisture.
