In autumn, the lawn no longer needs strong stimulation for growth. It needs something else: strengthening of roots, thickening of turf and better resistance to frost, diseases and harsh winter conditions.

Ordinary spring fertilizer with a lot of nitrogen can do more harm than good in the fall. It stimulates grass to grow intensively instead of preparing it for wintering.

Florovit Autumn for lawns has a composition tailored to the needs of grass in autumn and early spring. Low nitrogen content does not force excessive growth, and high levels of potassium and iron help the grass to better survive the winter.

Autumn

1. Slant the lawn before fertilizing.
2. Spread the fertilizer evenly over the entire lawn surface.
3. Apply a dose of 30 to 40 g/m².
4. Take the first dose in the second half of August.
5. Do the second dose at the turn of September and October.
6. If rain is not expected after fertilization, the lawn should be watered abundantly.

In the spring

1. Apply fertilizer in early spring, just before the start of vegetation.
2. Dose: 30 to 40 g/m².
3. Do not use during strong sun or strong wind.

One tablespoon contains an average of about 15 g of fertilizer.

Watering

Watering the lawn should be done if the soil dries to a depth of 3 cm. Young lawns and lawns on lighter soils should often be watered in small doses, older ones less often and larger doses. Proper watering moisturizes the ground to a depth of 10-5 cm. Ineffective and even harmful to lawns is watering, which moisturizes the ground to a depth of 1-2 cm.

Regular watering increases the efficiency of fertilization.
