Japanese saw KATABA Universal 250mm - for longitudinal, transverse and oblique cutting

Professional Japanese kataba saw (equivalent to the European payer) designed for cutting in wood and wood-based materials.

This popular kataba model is a combination of the traditional shape of the blade with an upgraded pistol handle. The saw is perfect for deep cuts, for creating spigots and mandrels and many other carpentry tasks. Very thin saw blade leaves a small kerf (approx. 0,66mm).

Pulse-hardened teeth provide 3 times longer life and sharpness compared to standard European saws.

Small teeth (19TPI). As in all Japanese saws, also here the cut occurs only when pulling the saw to itself. Thanks to this, Japanese saws have blades that are thinner, lighter and smoother causing faster cutting.
