Ryoba Komane – one saw, many applications

The thin, stiff saw blade provides exceptionally clean kerf and great control during operation, while the double-sided teeth allow you to comfortably cut both along and across the fibers. Ideal for accurate carpentry, furniture, and element matching work.

It is a practical choice if you want to cut efficiently and accurately, without reaching for a few tools.

Blue Hard is more "precise" and gentler to drive than the Seiun series, which is better suited for heavier carpentry work.

Technical information:

• Teeth are pulse hardened, each single, so that each tooth has the same hardness and the saw stays sharp longer. However, this type of hardening prevents the saws from sharpening again.
• On the one hand, a blade dedicated to longitudinal cutting, with a triangular tooth for better grain separation. The shape of the teeth allows for easy cutting and also increases the efficiency of the entire process.
• On the other hand trapezoidal teeth, dedicated for cross-cutting. Thanks to the alternating tooth cut and triple cutting surface, it precisely cuts wood fibers.
• The brush is fixed with a screw. A flat screwdriver is required to replace it.
• Handles of Japanese saws are made of natural materials - most often from kiri wood or hinoki, wrapped with rattan. So there are small defects in the material that do not affect the work.
