Chrome-plated carbon steel

Chrome plating of the key surface increases corrosion resistance and facilitates the removal of impurities – grease, oil and dirt do not penetrate the metal structure. Carbon steel provides adequate hardness and torsional strength for everyday workshop use.

Two types of tips in one key

The flat tip allows you to work in places with limited access, where you can not put the key in advance. The eye tip (closed) includes a nut or screw on each side, which reduces the risk of the tool slipping and damage to the fastener.

Flat wrench and eye wrench – when to use which side

The eyelet tip is recommended wherever there is enough space to apply the wrench from above – it provides better torque transfer and less risk of damage to the edge of the nut. The flat tip works well in tight spaces where the wrench needs to be inserted from the side, e.g. at pipes or close to walls. Flat-eye wrenches combine both functions in one tool, which limits the number of tools needed to complete the task.
