Description:

Cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric from the renowned brand AQUAFILTER. Effectively removes mechanical impurities such as rust, slurry sand not less than 10 microns. It provides excellent mechanical filtration, with low pressure drop. The cartridge can be installed at the entrance of water to the installation.

Task:

The task of foam cartridges is to purify water from mechanical impurities. The size of the filtered particles at the level of 10 microns, allows you to purify the water m.in. with: silt, sand, gravel, etc. The polypropylene fiber from which the cartridge is made is resistant to various types of chemicals.

How often should FCPSx series foam cartridges be replaced?

The cartridges of the FCPSx series have a specific capacity/absorption. Filtered impurities remain on the top and inner layers of the cartridge. Retained impurities are not washed out, so over time the absorbency of the cartridge decreases. The service life depends on the type and amount of pollution. The operation of other cartridges used in the system is also affected. The manufacturer determines the service life of the FCPSx cartridge series for approximately: 3 - 6 months. In water filter kits with pressure gauges to measure pressure at a given installation site, it is easy to assess cartridge consumption. Consumption will be evidenced by a drop in pressure in the section of the installation after the water filter.
