IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has an impact on a significant extension of reliable operation of welding equipment.

DEGREE OF PROTECTION

IP determines the extent to which the device is resistant to solid and water contaminants entering. IP21S means that the device is adapted to work indoors and is not suitable for use in rain and snow.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC WELDING MAGIC MIG 250

The device, which was made in the inverter technology IGBT. It is used for welding methods:

• MIG-MAG welding wire in gas shield,
• FLUX welding wire without shielding gas,
• MMA with direct current (DC) electrode

Thanks to these capabilities, the Magic Mig 250 is able to simplify many tasks.

Designed for welding with welding wires with a diameter of 0,6-1,0 mm, self-shielded wires 0,9 mm and electrodes wrapped with a diameter of up to 4 mm of low carbon steel, low alloy (MAG), alloy (MIG), aluminium and iron castings.

The MAGIC MIG 250 model is powered by a cable with a 400V plug and additionally has a adapter power supply from 400V to 230V. Max spool 15 kg D300.

Application primarily in small workshops, services that deal with automotive tinsmithing, farms and wherever mobility and effective operation of the set are required for work.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The power source is equipped with a thermal, automatic switch overload. When the temperature of the welding machine is too high, the protection will disconnect the welding current and the overheating indicator diode will light up. After the temperature drops, the circuit breaker will automatically reset.

MMA

A method in which a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes.

WORK CYCLE

The work cycle is based on a 10-minute period. The work cycle 60% means that after 6 minutes the operation of the device is required 4-minute break. The 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously, without interruptions.

Arc welding in gas shields is one of the most commonly used processes for the manufacture of welded structures.
