The MAGNUM MIG 205 L welding machine is a professional semi-automatic welding machine designed for welding steel low carbon, low alloy (MAG), alloy steel (MIG), aluminium and its alloys and for lutowelding!!! It also has the ability to weld with wrapped electrodes (rutile, alkaline, acidic - MMA), as well as self-shielded wires ("gas-free" welding). This device is used in heavy production (industrial) conditions as well as in repair workshops.

MAGNUM MIG 205 L has the possibility of lutowelding. It is an intermediate metal joining process between hard soldering and welding. The connection is obtained only by melting a special binder-solder (a binder based on copper SG-CuSi3, SG-CuSn6), without melting the joined metals, while the process technique and method of preparing the edges of the joined objects are similar to that of welding.

Currently, it is very common to use zinc galvanized sheets. In the welding process, evaporating zinc is the cause of the porosity of the welds, because high temperatures formed in this area destroy the protective layer, and the combined elements lose their corrosion resistance. Mechanical removal of zinc before welding, as well as re-application from places where evaporation occurred is a very expensive process. On the other hand, replenishing cavities with "zinc spray" preparations does not sufficiently protect the structure against corrosion. In addition, with welding blach galvanized there is a very large emission of zinc vapors harmful to the health of welders. All these problems avoid is using the lutowelding technology using the MIG/MAG method.
