➡ Yes. Thanks to the thick, 5-layer bottom with a thickness of 1,5 cm, the pots react instantly to the magnetic field of each induction hob.

2. Do the handles heat up strongly?

➡ The handles are riveted, which limits the flow of heat from the pot body. With standard cooking, they remain safe, however, with prolonged stewing under cover, we recommend using kitchen gloves.

3. How to care for 18/0 steel to last for years?

➡ Although the pots are dishwasher safe, we recommend avoiding strong chlorine chemicals. After washing, it is worth wiping the pots dry to prevent the formation of limescale stains.

In order for your Karl Hausmann stainless steel pots to serve you for many years and always look like new, it is important to follow the following recommendations:

1. Water salting: To avoid stains, it is recommended to add salt to the water after it has boiled. Adding salt to cold water can lead to corrosion and the formation of unsightly stains on the bottom of the pot.
2. Washing the pot: Use mild detergents and soft sponges or cloths. Avoid using strong cleaners and metal cleaners that can scratch the surface of the pot.
3. Food storage: It is not recommended to store foods with high acidity, such as tomatoes or citrus, in a pot for a long time. Acidic foods can react with stainless steel, which can lead to discoloration.

Remember that any stains and discoloration that may appear as a result of use do not affect the taste or quality of dishes prepared in the pot. They are also not a sign of damage to the product or loss of its performance.
