Elite Screens AEON Edge Free series are fixed frame screens with a frameless design (Edge Free technology) that, when mounted on the wall, look like a large-format flat-screen TV.

Key Features of the AEON Edge Free Series

• No visible frame: The fabric stretches directly over the lightweight aluminum frame at the back, leaving no visible edges.
• Optional Thin Bezel: A thin, minimalist bezel is included (approx. 0.5 cm) which can be optionally attached to give the screen a traditional, elegant outline.

Available surface types

Depending on the room conditions and the type of projector, screens in this series are available with different materials:

• CineWhite: A standard white surface with a reflectance of 1.1, ideal for darkened cinemas.
• CineGrey (3D / 5D): ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) grey surfaces that reject ambient light and improve contrast in quiet, bright living rooms.
• StarBright CLR / CLR 3: Special micro-structured surfaces designed exclusively for ultra-short throw (UST) projectors, effectively blocking light coming from above.
• AcousticPro UHD: Acoustically transparent surface (sound-permeable), allowing you to hide the speakers directly behind the screen.

Characteristic features of the projection surfaces in the AEON Edge Free series:

• CineWhite / CineWhite UHD-B

  Type: Matte white PVC surface (universal for standard projectors)

  Reflection coefficient (gain): 1.1 / 1.3

  Viewing angle: 180° (105°–180°)

  Intended use: Light-controlled rooms, 4K/8K home cinema

• CineGrey

  Type: High contrast gray surface

  Reflection coefficient (gain): 1.0

  Viewing angle: 160°

  Purpose: Improving black level and contrast in rooms with light walls.

• CineGrey 3D / CineGrey 5D (ALR)

  Type: Gray surfaces reflecting ambient light (Ambient Light Rejecting)

  Gain: 1.2 (CineGrey 3D) / 1.5 (CineGrey 5D)

  Viewing angle: 90° (CineGrey 3D) / 80° (CineGrey 5D)

  Intended use: Living room home cinemas with daylight/ceiling lighting.

• CLR / CLR 3 / StarBright CLR (UST ALR)

  Type: Special optical structure absorbing top light

  Reflection coefficient (gain): 0.6 – 0.8

  Viewing angle: approx. 160°–170° (optimal on axis)

  Intended use: For ultra short throw (UST) projectors only – daylight TV replacement.

• AcousticPro UHD

  Type: Acoustically transparent surface (micro-perforated)

  Reflection coefficient (gain): 1.0

  Viewing angle: 180°

  Purpose: To hide cinema speakers directly behind the screen.
