The new Thaya pneumatic kayak is a combination of Nitrilon material and Dropstich technology.
The main advantages of this kayak are great stability, rigidity and maneuverability.
The unique combination of inflatable cylinders and modern Dropstich technology creates a universal combination that increases user comfort and improves kayaking properties. Other features of the Thaya kayak include its low weight and simple folding method.
Purpose: lowland rivers, lakes and mountain rivers up to WW2.
An additional deck on the bow (optional) protects it from flooding by waves increasing the comfort of rowing, e.g. at sea. Thaya is a 2-person kayak that after removing one seat can become a spacious one or after adding a third seat - a family three. Dropstich technology is based on the combination of the upper and lower layers of fabric with thousands of polyester fibers. This fabric is equipped with an airtight coating and is protected on both sides by a resistant Nitrilon material. With thousands of fibers holding both layers together, these products can be inflated to very high pressure. This allows you to obtain a material as solid as homogeneous materials (polyethylene or laminate), while maintaining the same folding capability as other Gumotex kayaks.
