The 1x12-speed Shimano XT FC-M8100 crank with 172 mm Q-factor, 52 mm chain line and 142/148 mm OLD means the highest drive performance at low weight. It offers optimal power transmission and maximum speed for the new XT system, which uses only 1 shield.

In addition to the new special 12-row chain (CN-M8100) with the corresponding new 12-row QUICK LINK lock, the SHIMANO also equips the XT M8100 with new cranks for 12-row gears (FC-M8100/8120/8130-1). Most of them use 1-speed systems and a wide range of discs (28T to 36T) are available.

The new XT 1x12-row cranks feature DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology, whose special, high-precision tooth profile ensures that the chain finds optimal grip at the top of the disc on uneven terrain, but also detaches from the bottom disc, thus ensuring efficiency, smoothness and low drive noise. The cranks are equipped with a direct mounting system for quick and safe mounting of discs, which allows for instant replacement of discs. The crank is available in the top-up specification and without top-up.
