Audio-Technica AT-LP120xBT-USB is a fully manual turntable, which thanks to its refined design and modern equipment guarantees a lot of joy from listening to vinyl records. The device is equipped with a new DC motor with Direct-Drive drive and dynamically adjustable anti-skating control. The turntable supports three playback speeds: 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm. /min.
One of the distinguishing features of this model is Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, compatible with Qualcomm® aptX™ codec. In addition, the turntable is equipped with a USB output, so it can be connected directly to the computer. This allows the user to save their vinyl records as digital audio files after installing Audacity recording software (or other software) on a Mac or PC.
In addition to Bluetooth and USB, the AT-LP120xBT-USB is equipped with RCA output connectors, as well as a built-in phono preamplifier. This allows the turntable to be connected directly to any stereo system, whether it has a special Phono input or not. What’s more, thanks to the AT-LP120xBT-USB preamplifier, you can even connect to active speakers.
The turntable uses an S-shaped arm with adjustable pressure and an AT-HS6 head with a ½ inch mount, in which a high-quality Dual MM AT-VM95E insert with a 0,3 × 0,7 mile elliptical-cut needle is mounted as standard. A practical convenience is the possibility of using any replacement needle from the VM95 series, which allows you to adjust the sound of the turntable to your preferences. In addition, the designers used a strobe plate with a speed indicator in the AT-LP120XBT-USB. The plate itself is cast in aluminum and covered with a felt mat. The whole rests on a dampened base, which protects the turntable from coloring the sound by the low frequency feedback.
