Decompression valve
The decompression valve allows you to remove part of the compressed mixture from the cylinder during start-up. This allows you to significantly reduce the force needed to pull the starter cable, relieve the person operating the device and protect the entire start-up system of the device.
STIHL 2-MIX engine
During the flushing process, a fuel-free air layer is placed between the exhaust gases excreted and a fresh portion of the mixture in the engine crankcase. This airbag reduces fuel losses associated with the cylinder flushing process – thereby protecting the operator’s health and the environment.
Manual fuel pump
Starting devices with an internal combustion engine that have a manual fuel pump is up to 40% easier - especially after a long break in operation. Pressing the fuel pump several times is enough for the fuel to go into the carburetor.
Magnesium cover
The cutter cover is made of die-cast magnesium, which provides a significant reduction in weight. New design for adjusting the cover and water connection.
Ergonomic handle design
The modern and ergonomic design provides the operator with the most optimal grip position. The envelope handle guarantees excellent cutting comfort in any working position.
Semi-automatic V-belt tensioning system
After loosening the fixing screws, the V-belt is tensioned automatically. This increases the life of the device and affects the small wear of the belt.
Water connection
Water is supplied to the cutter disc through a standard water connection with a sprinkler, which allows dust to be effectively bound during cutting. The connection has been installed in such a place that it does not interfere with operation.
Long-life air filter system
The long-life air filter system with preliminary cyclone filter ensures the separation of 80% of dust particles contained in the intake air already in the first stage of filtering. Dust particles do not settle - as is the case with ordinary filter systems - on a foam filter, but are separated and discharged again to the outside. In this way, the need to clean the foam filter is eliminated.
