In mid-September 2011, the fashion house Valentino launched a new fragrance called Valentina. Inspired by Rome and Italian flavors, the fragrance was developed in collaboration with Puig and perfumers Alberto Morillas and Olivier Cresp.
The composition was designed as a fresh floral - fruity - oriental fragrance, full of contradictions, and at the same time delicate, strong, elegant, sensual, rebellious and funny.
It begins with bergamot from Calabria and white truffles from Alba. Amalfi orange blossom, sweet jasmine, tuberose and wild strawberries compose a heart note, set in a base with notes of cedar, vanilla and amber.
The face of the advertising campaign is model Freja Beha Erichsen, shot by David Sims.
